The occupant experienced a power trip when he switched on all the electrical appliances after returning home. Upon resetting the consumer unit, he went about with his routine but noticed smoke at the second level of the 3-storey terrace house shortly thereafter. Fire damage was severe in the master bedroom Picture.
While other parts of the house sustained heat, smoke and water damage. The burn patterns were consistent with that of a fire which originated from a location near the windows, where a computer table used to be. Bad attitude and service. My storage tank caused power trip which I had isolated via checks at power circuit. I… informed that I need to confirm if it’s storage tank faulty or the power point that is faulty. Their worker came down to check my power circuit box again which I already checked. Then they told me need to check other points which came at additional cost that was not informed. I was okay and told them to proceed. While the worker was checking I called Competent Electrician to feedback that such additional cost should be informed before hand and not after they arrive. The boss that answered the call said it’s okay and that they will leave and hanged the phone on me. the boss then called his worker to leave. Beware and agree on all cost before getting them to come down. The call to them is just a feedback so that future customers will not face the same situation as me, needing to decide whether to pay extra on the spot.Such bad service and attitude is not needed. Take the feedback constructively and improve on your communication.read more
